Volume Shocking | # | Real Life — call2arms @ 7:51 pm

by Loreal. I had purchased a similiar mascara at Sephora a couple years back, it was around $20. It was great but a bit too much work. I saw this one and decided to make the purchase, I think it was about $12 at the drug store.

It is not a joke. I put it on and my eyelashes hit my glasses. It tickles. I have to move my glasses foward so I don’t feel odd all day.

Great stuff.

Babies and Old People | # | Uncategorized — call2arms @ 5:03 pm

Yesterday while visiting BigMom, I discovered a baby in the house. My aunt watches the child.

I had heard children are the joy of old men, but yesterday I saw it. While I began to see the baby as work- trying to prevent it from putting everything in its mouth, BigMom was chuckling and laughing and playing with her.

I had pulled my chair next to Bigmom’s recliner, so we could chat, and I sat the baby on my lap. The baby who knows bigmom, took one of her toys, rattled it and threw it to bigmom. Bigmom, rattled it and threw it back. This game went on for a while and both ladies just giggled and laughed and had a great time. A 92 year old andd a 1 year old relating.

Bigmom told me the baby had winked at her earlier in the day and she got a kick out of that.

I know my grandparents really enjoyed us and we thoroughly enjoyed them. I had such a great time with them, that when I was young my dream was to be a grandmother. I guess when people don’t use their parents solely as the baby sitter but as a part of the child’s life, both lives are enriched, the laughter and joy is endless.
