Love isn’t who you can live with, it’s who you can’t live without.
A relationship isn’t about compromise, it’s about compatibility. Why should you squeeze into something that doesn’t fit?
Beware of a friendly sinner. Those who sin with you, will sin against you.
I got those at church today. Bishop Noel Jones published cards with his many sayings that and they will be on sale at Walmart on May 15. I love hearing him speak because he says stuff and I think “wow, its so simple. It’s all so simple and reasonable.”
I am in full support of all those statements, and I will be heading to Walmart to make that purchase.
View Park/Baldwin Hills here we come. My guy had to work Saturday and I went to the office with him to do the never ending work I seem to have. After we left we took a drive. It was a very nice day, so we took the streets and toured neighborhoods and a few gated communities. He showed me an area that was built like the Oakland Hills. When we drove through I felt like I was near my Oakland home. That was a good feeling.
We agreed we prefer the established communities over the new gated communities. We eventually hit ViewPark/Baldwin Hills.
I had a client that lived in View Park, she was the neighbor of the attorney I do work for. She told me it was a great neighborhood (that was my impression) and explained how difficult it was to get into the neighborhood because sales are rare. People pass their home to their children or sell to those they know.
As we drove through the beautiful area of large well manicured homes my guy told me when buying a home he looks at the number of sales in the area. The fewer homes for sell the more desirable the area to him. As we drove through we saw 1 for sale sign.
I was enjoying the area and he said “we can live here” and he said with a smile in his eyes.
We went to Marina Del Rey for a date on Saturday. We sat on the patio, where our view was sparkling city lights and the ocean. Our waitress came over with bread and to tell us the special. I felt a drop of water on my head. Within 10 minutes I felt about 3 drops.
We were right on the ocean and a little moisture is to be expected, but I feared rain. We asked to be moved inside. I looked out about 15 minutes later and the umbrellas were up. About 20 minutes later, I smelled real rain. By the time we left the restaurant it was raining buckets.
