1) Do what I do.
2) Like what I like.
3) Believe what I believe.
4) Think like I think.
5) Want what I want.
6) Feel like I feel.
7) Like who I like.
8) Love how I love.
9) Get what I have.
10) Remain in agreement with me at all times.
In essence ignore that you were born an original, spend your life becoming a copy.
When in life do most people figure out that happiness means different things to different people? When do people stop being upset by people choosing to find and follow their own path? When do people finally understand that everyone doesn’t want what they want or need what they need?
When do people realize that good is relative to my personal needs and great has everything to do with me and not what anyone else wants me to think is great? Sure I can appreciate what other people find beautiful, but that doesn’t mean I find it beautiful. When do people realize that our differences, make the world a liveable place? Imagine the chaos and misery if we all wanted the same job, mate, career, clothes, house, city to live in. We’ve all got different fingerprints, why is it so hard to believe can we all have different paths to our happiness?

Amen! it is all about being YOU and no one else.

“Sure I can appreciate what other people find beautiful, but that doesn’t mean I find it beautiful.”
To this I say:
.
“Respect the happiness of others; just because you don’t understand why they’re happy doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be.” I find this quote to be true, especially since I coined it myself
PS - I didn’t know you were still paying this blog any attention! lol

Heartdrops, we’re clearly kindred spirits.
C2A has entered retirement but I got tagged so I revisited. Retirement work is the best.

Verrry nice! And I agree one-thousand persent. To me, this idea is pretty simple, yet many people just don’t see it as such. Our differences are what make us interesting.

So so true. It just seems like some people believe that they have “the key to the city” — they have it all figured out. They scream the loudest when they feel others are imposing on their values & opinions yet they are the worst offenders.
